We have owned, bred, trained and exhibited Dobermanns since 1977 in the UK. Our Kennel was founded in 1996 and maintains a keen interest in imported bloodlines from the USA. Our long term breeding program is focused on using specific bloodlines carefully selected for stable temperament, strong character and good breed type. We believe very strongly in maintaining healthy dogs that are fit for function capable of fulfilling the original purpose of the breed.

To continue with our vision, we have the pleasure of working with a number of like-minded breeding colleagues and exhibitors. We deeply value the support and collaboration from our colleagues, without which such achievements are more difficult to achieve.  From 2024 onwards, we are very pleased to grant Stuart Evans a joint and separate interest in the Kitado kennel and welcome his input to securing the future of these breeding lines.

American Akitas were also a big part of our lives from 1985 to 2020 when we decided to focus on the development of the Japanese Akita Inu in the UK. See our separate website for information.
